The studio
Hollow Pine is a by-appointment studio in a converted print shop — two private rooms, north light and no walk-in traffic. It's built for people who want something meaningful and are happy to wait for it.
Every piece is drawn from scratch. We don't copy other artists' work, and we'll always tell you honestly if an idea needs to be bigger to age well.

Wren turned my grandmother's handwriting into the most delicate piece I own. It healed perfectly — not a single blowout.

Aftercare & policies
All tattoos soften over time. Fine-line work ages best with good placement, the right size and sun protection — your artist will advise on all three. A free touch-up within 3 months is included.
Sleep well, eat a proper meal beforehand, stay hydrated and skip alcohol for 24 hours. Wear clothing that gives easy access to the placement.
Expect 2–4 weeks for the surface to heal. We'll send you home with a second-skin bandage, a healing balm and written instructions.
Our rooms are small, so one guest is welcome to stay for consultations, but we ask that sessions are just you and your artist.
