The band
Four friends, too many amps
Velvet Static formed in a Detroit basement in 2019: Nina on vocals, Jonah on guitar, Teo on bass and Ruby behind a drum kit held together with gaffer tape. We've played 400 shows since, from dive bars to festival main stages.
We write loud songs about quiet feelings. That's it. That's the whole plan.
